Nothing better to me than praising God to music I really enjoy. I was never impressed with the Christian music I had heard in my youth (80's) and wrote off the whole genre. I am so glad I was mistaken. I listen to them all the time and thank God for their talent and inspiration. But so far my favorite Christian band is Third Day. The lead singer has such a rich, deep, soulful voice and the music is absolutely fantastic.
In fact, I'd want them to understand the message, unlike most Rock music. After receiving salvation a few years ago I thought my prospects of enjoying any kind of Christian rock were dismal. I can even listen to their music with my young children and have no concerns about the lyrics whatsoever. This is another great album by Third Day. I own nearly all of their music. By the way, I like everything from classical to Rock (I'm not biased and enjoy a range of music).
I hope to enjoy their music for decades to come.
i would like to receive it before i review it it's been over a month now. where is it.
It has the quintescential Third Day rock and beat, and I can blast it in my car and have a great ride home from work. I am an avid music listener (mostly rock) and this is a great album. I didn't really think I'd be able to really "rock out" to a Christian worship album, but this one is different. Every song is good and if I had the chance, I'd buy this one again. If you like Third Day, you'll definitely love this album.
This is one of my all-time favorite worship albums. I have enjoyed it from the first time I ever put it in the Cd player. The guys in Third day can really rock, and on this album they mix the rocking energy into a well captured worship service. Their cover of Bob Dylan's "saved" is more than worth the price of the album by itself.
I have quickly become a fan of Third Day. I especially love "Saved" and "Thief". Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
